Smart Screen

The smart presenter screen is located at the front of the room and has touch screen/annotation capabilities. The screen also serves as a monitor for the integrated computer system in the room, which can be controlled with the included wireless keyboard and mouse.

Microphone

The lapel microphone should be located in the charging port on top of the black equipment cabinet in the corner of the room. The microphone is connected to the integrated computer system to record audio for streaming or recording lectures. Be sure to place the microphone back into the charging port as seen, with the “Shure” logo facing forward.

In order to use the lapel microphone, turn it on by switching the “on” switch located at the top of the mic. Clip the microphone tip that is on the end of the cord to your collar or jacket, where it will be close enough to your mouth that you can project your speech to the class.

Control Panel

To turn on the smart screen, click the PC button on the control panel, which is found on the wall next to the equipment cabinet at the front of the classroom.

When finished with class, press “off” at the far right.

Blue Ray Player

The Blu-Ray console is located inside the equipment cabinet, as shown below. Please only use the Blu-Ray feature and do not change any other settings in the console without IS assistance.

Note: DO NOT move this lectern around, as it is connected to cords in the back.

Flexible Seating and Power Outlets

Seating and tables in the room are movable and power is available from outlets located on the walls and floors around the room.
