Seminar Room Three is located on the first floor of the Law School adjacent to SR2 in the small connector hallway leading to the Strauss Institute.

Smart Screen

The smart computer screen is located at the front of the classroom and functions as both a projector screen for the students and a computer for the professor.

Control Panel

To turn on the smart screen, click the PC button on the control panel, which is found on the wall next to the equipment cabinet at the front of the classroom.

When finished with class, press “off” at the far right.

Ceiling Speakers

The ceiling speakers are rounded and set into the ceiling as shown below. There are two in the classroom.

Whiteboards

The whiteboards are set on the front and left-hand wall, as shown below.

Blu-Ray

The Blu-Ray console is located inside the equipment cabinet, as shown below. Please only use the Blu-Ray feature and do not change any other settings in the console without IS assistance.

Note: DO NOT move this lectern around, as it is connected to cords in the back.

Power Outlets

The classroom desks are moveable, and the power outlets can be found on the walls, and on the floor.

IS Helpline

The IS Helpline phone is located on top of the equipment cabinet. To use, simply pick up the phone and wait to be connected with an IS representative.

Keyboard and Mouse

The keyboard and mouse can be found on the equipment cabinet with the phone and mic, but can be moved anywhere in the classroom if needed, as they are wireless.

Laptop Connection

To connect your laptop, you will need to plug your laptop in to the HDMI port (shown below), found in the wall next to the equipment cabinet.

Microphone

The lapel microphone can be located in the charging port, next to the HDMI port. Always return the mic to the charging port when you are finished.

The microphone is connected for zoom use to record presenter audio for streaming and recording.

Note the HDMI and USB port is located next to the microphone port.

For the lapel mic, turn it on by switching the “on” switch located at the top of the mic. Clip the mic that is on the end of the cord to your collar or jacket, where it will be close enough to your mouth that you can project your speech to the class.
