Choosing your Zoom Microphone + Camera, Troubleshooting Tips, & Add-Ons
Logging in
Click the Zoom application, and click Sign in with SSO (accompanied by a key symbol). This will take you to the CAS Pepperdine Login page where you will login with your Pepperdine credentials. Then, Zoom will open back up and you are able to Join, Start, or Schedule a meeting within your Zoom account.

Choosing your Microphone and Camera
When you start or join a meeting, a preview will pop up where you can select your microphone and camera from a drop-down menu of options. If working correctly, you should be able to see your camera view and check that the mic is working by seeing if it responds with green movements to your voice.

Click Join with computer audio when prompted. You can also test your speaker and microphone at this step.

Once in the meeting, you can also change your microphone and camera by selecting the carrot (^) next to the microphone and camera icons at the bottom left corner of your screen. You can turn your microphone and camera on and off by clicking their icons as well, which will show a red slash through them when off. At the bottom of your screen, you will see a panel of options available where you can view participants, type in the chat, react with emoji icons, share content such as your screen, and more.

Now you should be ready to start Zoom-ing! You can always visit Zoom support if issues arise at Official Zoom Support | Help Center. Or of course call or email us at Information Services so we can help!
