Using good judgment is the hallmark of a great attorney.

We strongly recommend against changing your operating system at this point in time. Such a change can cause unforeseen issues with compatibility and reliability at a time when you don’t need those kinds of variables. Approaching midterms and final exams with a brand new operating system is not likely to be a benefit to you.

Note that ExamSoft says that their latest version of Examplify WILL support Windows 11. However they caution that it does not support OS 12. At the risk of repeating ourselves (again) we recommend that you avoid both for the time being.

On Tuesday, October 5, Microsoft released Windows 11.  Apple has also announced that its latest operating system, macOS 12 Monterey, will be released Oct 25, 2021.

The Caruso School of Law Information Services department does not support Windows 11 or the upcoming macOS 12 at this time.

Please wait until there has been a full assessment of these new operating systems to ensure compatibility with Pepperdine University systems and services before upgrading your existing computer or purchasing a new one with either Windows 11 or macOS 12.
